Alias in Wonderland
There were so few devotees on harinama both yesterday and last Friday it left me wondering where everybody goes on Friday arvi at 3pm. Please forgive my impertinent thoughts but I really had the impression that we were much more than impersonal chanting machines that sit at home and chant a few rounds.
Let me illustrate how I see it working:
- Chant rounds (Good) Service
- Kirtana (Better) Chanting together with friends
- Harinama (Best) Chanting together with friends to save conditioned souls.
Harinama is an expression of compassion. You want the Lord to be compassionate to you. If you offer compassion to the conditioned souls then surely then the Lord will be compassionate to you.
It makes sense that that's one of the reasons that Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu recommended Harinama Sankirtana as the Yuga Dharma.
Please come to the harinama. Anyone can come especially now that it's FREE.
