Dome and Domer
Looks like the dome idea might fall through due to the high annual wet season rainfall in this sub-tropical neck of the woods, and domes are said to leak when it rains.
I do know of a dome or dome like structure out at Fernvale but I'm still waiting to run into my friend Gary to find out if he knows much about it, I'm sure that he would be a reliable authority on that particular dome, we'll wait and see/hear.
There are still lots of other options that are still suitable for our purpose of working it out together.
